Organic Carbon and Calcium Carbonate

These two natural elements blended Carbon and Carbonate in dry form are inactive, once coming into contact with moisture a heating process takes place releasing Calcium and Humic Acid, providing a combination of a pH lifter and Organic Carbon release, stimulating micro-activity and nutrient release. This product should be used in acidic soils or where Calcium and Organic Carbon are required.

Lifts acid soils naturally, quickens Calcium release

Soil acids slowly pit the plates of the Calcium particle releasing Carbonate. The Humic Acid in Lignite increases the acid sight and breaks down the calcium quicker releasing nutrients to the plant.

Example

200 kgs per hectare of lig/lime on acidic soils would be equal to 500 kgs of pure Lime of slow release.  Both will improve grass growth and legumes production in acid soils,  increase nutrient release and strengthen root growth.

Application time

Best times are a month before winter for southern grasses and pastures and again in spring before a Nitrogen application. See application rates
